Where is The Royal Military Chapel (The Guards’ Chapel)?
The Chapel is based at Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London, SW1E 6HQ
What is the nearest station?
The nearest Underground Stations are St James Park and Green Park. The nearest Mainline Stations are Victoria, Waterloo and Charing Cross.
Do I need to bring ID?
Yes. You will need to bring valid photo ID with you for the evening otherwise you will not be allowed to enter The Royal Military Chapel (The Guards’ Chapel).
What is the dress code for the evening?
The dress code for the event is Lounge Suit.
Is parking available?
Unfortunately there will be no parking available on the night.
Is there disabled access?
Due to another event, unfortunately there is no parking available at Wellington Barracks. The Royal Military Chapel has disabled access.
How long will the service last?
The service should last approximately one hour; starting at 18:45. We encourage people to arrive from 1815 to take their seats in order for the service to start promptly at 1845.
When will I receive my tickets?
If you have already purchased tickets to the event, then they will be sent out within the next fortnight.
Will I get allocated a seat?
Owing to the layout of the Chapel, we are unable to allocate specific seating. However, we will be allocating specific rows which will be noted on your tickets.

Will I receive a programme?
Every guest of the carol service will be given a programme upon arrival. These programmes include the order of service and are free of charge.
How do I get to the Reception?
You will be escorted to the Officers’ Mess following the service in The Royal Military Chapel. Your Swing Tag must be worn at all times in order to gain access to the Reception and to receive refreshments.
Can I purchase drinks during the service?
Refreshments will not be available during the service. The Reception following the service, which includes refreshments, is available at an extra cost.
Do I need to bring cash?
If you are attending the Reception then we advise you to bring cash as there will be no access to a cash point at Wellington Barracks.
